This photograph taken in the centre of Grindleton was taken
around the late 1950's.The building on the right 'Half Moon Cottage' was demolished
shortly after this photograph was taken for a 'road widening scheme'.Which
again seems like a right farce to pull down a historic old cottage,to make
way for about a foot of road.In fact to me the size of the road looks exactly
as it does today! 'Three Ways' the house on the left use to be a cafe,though
I'm not sure if it was when this photograph was taken.
