This postcard shows the centre of Bolton by Bowland.Around the time of the taking of this photograph here was avery popular spot for day trippers,especially cyclists.

A postcard of Gisburn.The two pubs on the left hand side of the card The New Inn and The Ribblesdale Arms have both closed in the last 10 years.Also next door to the Ribblesdale Arms is a petrol station which closed years ago.Again this old card is from around the early 1930's.
