This photograph of the River Ribble at Brungerley was taken on a very old plate camera (that is in Clitheroe museum).The plate it self (negative) is 10"x8". Looking on the left hand side the park is in its very early days.It still looks just like a field with a few trees in.The park area of Brungerley use to be known as Pighill before it was opened as a public park.
